Integrity Education
Integrity Education ensures compliance and education for the OHSU workforce through such venues as the Compass learning management system and the Code of Conduct, which help promote an environment based on respect, while protecting private and confidential information.
Integrity Web Based Training
University
All members of OHSU's workforce (employees, volunteers, students, trainees and some contractors) must complete OHSU's HIPAA, Respect at the University and Integrity Foundations, in order to receive an OHSU badge. In addition all must complete an annual Integrity Booster training. This requirement applies regardless of whether an individual is involved in patient care.
- HIPAA- Privacy and You
HIPAA" stands for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of1996. This engaging course will review how HIPAA impacts all members of the OHSU workforce. It will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete this course.
- Integrity Booster
The Integrity Booster provides a brief overview of important updates and changes in policies that affect all of us. All members of the OHSU community will be required to complete the course early each year. It will take 30 minutes to complete this course.
- Respect at the University
This course provides learners an understanding of respectful behavior in the workplace and helps them identify behaviors that violate university policy or the law. The training addresses all types of respectful interactions and helps learners understand proper behavior as it relates to all protected classes (gender, race, age, sexual orientation, etc.) and to anyone they encounter in the course of the day. It will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete this course. - Integrity Foundations
A completed Integrity Foundations certificate is required, in addition to the HIPAA and Respect at the University course certificates, in order to receive an OHSU badge.Based on the breadth of this information, you can expect the course to take between 30 and 45 minutes.
NOTE: 2014 Integrity Booster can now be found under the name 'Integrity Foundations' and will fulfill the badging requirement moving forward (as of March 23, 2015).
