Curt Stilp joined the faculty in July of 2008.

Curt began his health care career as a Registered Nurse after graduating from Winona State University in 1997.  He then went on to graduate from Rosalind Franklin Universities PA program in 2001 and plans to finish his doctorate in education from Portland State University in June 2017.  Curt’s clinical experience has been primarily in orthopedic surgery. In July 2016 Curt transitioned into the role of Director of the Oregon Area Health Education Center (AHEC), a position that fits well with his doctoral work in rural interprofessional education (IPE).  He continues to maintain an appointment in the PA program through teaching Applied Clinical Skills, clinical site development, and student advising.

Outside OHSU Curt enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children.  He also enjoys running, watching sports (football and baseball), and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Oregon has to offer.
