Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Substance Abuse

Applications are now being considered for postdoctoral research positions funded by institutional training grants awarded by NIAAA and NIDA to the Department of Behavioral Neuroscience at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). A diverse research group of faculty at OHSU, the Vollum Institute, the Portland VA Medical Center, and the Oregon National Primate Center offers training in behavioral pharmacology and pharmacogenetics, systems physiology/pharmacology, and cell/molecular biology. Training faculty include: Drs. Charles Allen, John Belknap, Kari Buck, William Cameron, Lucia Carbone, John Crabbe, Christopher Cunningham, Verginia Cuzon Carlson, Damien Fair, David Farrens, Deborah Finn, Matthew Frerking, David Grandy, Kathleen Grant, Marina Guizzetti, Mary Heinricher, Robert Hitzemann, William Hoffman, Susan Ingram, Aaron Janowsky, Steven Johnson, Martin Kelly, Christopher Kroenke, Garet Lahvis, Matthew Lattal, Miranda Lim, Charles Meshul, Suzanne Mitchell, Bonnie Nagel, Kim Neve, Barry Oken, Tamara Phillips, Jacob Raber, Oline Rønnekleiv, Andrey Ryabinin, Eliot Spindel, and John Williams.

A background in a neuroscience area is preferred. Stipend is in accord with NIH scales ($43,692 - $55,296 depending on experience).
