Owen McCarty Promoted to Professor

The School of Medicine congratulates the 85 faculty members who have been promoted & appointed this year. These faculty members have distinguished themselves across multiple domains in accordance with the School of Medicine Promotion and Tenure guidelines.

The promoted faculty members represent 23 of the school’s 26 departments and two free standing divisions. Forty-four faculty members were promoted to the level of associate professor and 23 to the level of professor. Owen McCarty, Interim Chair of BME has been promoted to Professor.
