Academic Programs

PMCB is an umbrella program which leads to a degree in one of seven academic programs. After completing core curriculum and lab rotations with PMCB, students choose a mentor and join a cohort of students.

Meet the PMCB Director

Robert Duvoisin, Ph.D. has served as the director of the graduate Program in Molecular & Cellular Biosciences (PMCB) since 2016.

Robert Duvoisin, PMCB Director Tremendously committed to graduate education, Dr. Duvoisin has directly mentored graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and was director of a T32 training program in Neurological Sciences. He is a course director (The Practice and Ethics of Science and Receptor Pharmacology), director of the graduate program in physiology and pharmacology, and serves on the Graduate Program Steering Committee.

Dr. Duvoisin is currently leading the Creative IDEAS committee that is charged with envisioning the future of doctoral education in the School of Medicine.
