22nd Annual Pennington Lectures

OHSU Family Medicine's Pennington Lectures are a  topic-based single day conference held in the early fall in Portland. The day includes four parts: 

  • A morning session of lectures interspersed with time for questions
  • An afternoon keynote lecture pertinent to provision of medical care or practice transformation
  • Clinically relevant afternoon workshops
  • Resident poster presentations
This conference is named in honor of Merle Pennington MD, a founder of the OHSU Department of Family Medicine and mentor to many physicians, who formally joined the faculty in 1977.

Continuing medical education (CME)

This Live activity, 22nd Annual Merle Pennington Lectures in Family Medicine, with a beginning date of 09/21/2018, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 9.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity
