Giving Opportunities

The generosity of donors like you makes an extraordinary difference in the health and welfare of OHSU Family Medicine patients and their families. Without your support, the Department of Family Medicine could not improve the health  of our communities.  In addition to the funds listed below, OHSU Family Medicine invites you to become a member of the Robert Taylor Society or to consider other types of gifts

Or, please support OHSU Family Medicine through one of the following OHSU Foundation funds:

The Family Medicine Discretionary Fund for Clinics and Staff Development.  This fund provides support for needy patients and for various programs that fulfill the mission of the Department, such as the Laurel Case Lectureship, the Summer Observership, cross-cultural training and the professional development of staff.

The Peter A. Goodwin, MD Fund for Residents This fund supports OHSU family medicine resident teaching (educational activities not supported by grant or departmental funds), travel (to state and national family medicine meetings) and scholarship (such as seed money for resident research projects).

The Anita D. Taylor, MA Ed Travel Fund for Medical Students This fund pays for medical student travel to the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students in Kansas City, MO. Medical student leadership is enhanced by this experience.
