The department of obstetrics and gynecology of Oregon Health & Science University continues to experience growth and success. Comprehensive ObGyn Education Programs

We offer a range of specialized programs in obstetrics and gynecology such as reproductive endocrinology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, gynecologic surgery, ultrasound and more.

ObGyn Medical School Education

Our mission is to provide the highest quality education in women’s health care. This effort is focused in the 6-week required third year core clerkship in obstetrics and gynecology. However, our faculty is involved in women’s health education throughout the four-year medical school curriculum. Our goal is that every student graduate from OHSU with the basic knowledge and understanding of women’s health to enable them to provide outstanding care for their women patients. Read More

The purpose of the residency program is to prepare physicians in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology and to bring excellence to women’s health care. The environment at OHSU encompasses the whole socioeconomic spectrum with care being provided in a compassionate, considerate, and respectful manner. Women’s Health Research at OHSU

The Women’s Health Research Unit provides a comprehensive infrastructure of resources to solicit, facilitate and manage clinical research in women’s health care and women with opportunities to participate in investigations of new clinical therapies and techniques designed to improve health, reduce suffering, and improve quality of life.
