Primary Goal

To describe the incidence and preventability of safety events in pre-hospital care for children.

Purpose

To gain a better understanding of safety issues in EMS in order to facilitate the development of national guidelines and standards of care and to advance training and systems improvement interventions to reduce error and improve the overall quality of health care out comes for children.
