Dr. Simon Brown attended the 19th ECCO-AACR-EORTC-ESMO Workshop on Methods in Clinical Cancer Research [PDF] to be held in Zeist, Netherlands in June 2017. Dr. Brown's mentor for his clinical trial concept is Zeist student alumnus, Dr. Reid Thompson, assistant professor of radiation medicine and computational biology. Dr. Brown is the 5th OHSU radiation oncology resident in the past 6 yrs to be accepted to one of the highly coveted clinical trials workshops.
