Reid Thompson, MD, PhD, the Million Veteran Program leader and clinical investigator at the Portland VA Health Care System, is recipient of a generous grant by the Sunlin & Priscilla Chou Foundation for his proposal, "Genomic Predictors of Cancer Immunotherapy Responsiveness". The cumulative award funding of $240,000 over 3 yrs, will facilitate the development of the MVP and new Division of Computational Biology and Informatics, within the Dept. of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Thompson has an appointment in the OHSU Computational Biology program is also the program leader for cutaneous radiation oncology within the Knight Cancer Institute.
