Dr. Jerry J. Jaboin promoted to the position of Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs

Summer Greetings!

It is with great pleasure that I am announcing the promotion of Dr. Jerry J. Jaboin to the position of Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Radiation Medicine effective immediately.  

Prior to coming to OHSU, Dr. Jaboin has worked as a Medical and Quality Director of a large regional Radiation Oncology Clinic, Medical Specialty Service Line Leader of a large regional hospital, and as the inaugural physician Lead of a Radiation Oncology Specialty Council spanning 7 radiation oncology centers in three states. Since late January of this year, he has joined the ranks of our faculty demonstrating high organizational citizenship and contributing to our movement of performance excellence.  He currently is the Medical Director of the Legacy OHSU Cancer Collaborative.

In his new position, he will report directly to the Chair, Dr. Thomas, and he will be granted greater responsibility over clinical affairs involving the Radiation Medicine Faculty &Staff. 

Dr. Jaboin has recently been promoted to the rank of Clinical Associate Professor within our department, and will maintain his responsibilities in his clinical service lines and research laboratory. I would like to congratulate Dr. Jaboin and wish him the best of luck in his new role.
