Drs. Bornstein, Timur Mitin, and CR Thomas will share leadership roles for 3 oral sessions at the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) in Sept 2016. Dr. Bornstein (director of the division of translational research and program leader in palliative care) will co-moderate the Biology – Radiation &Cancer Biology oral scientific session 23 on Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 1-2:30 pm (EST). Dr. Mitin (medical director of the Tuality OHSU Cancer Center) is an invited discussant for the GU – Bladder & Renal Cancers oral scientific session 28 on Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 2:45-4:15 pm (EST). Dr. Thomas serves as the discussant for oral scientific session 10, Health Services Research/Disparities in Radiotherapy Delivery in the US &Internationally, on Monday, Sept. 26th from 7:45-9 am (EST). Other OHSU personnel will also participate in the annual ASTRO meeting this fall.
