James D. Murphy, MD, MS was a visiting faculty in February 2016. He is the service chief for GI & Palliative Radiation Oncology in the Department of Radiation Medicine & Applied Sciences at the UCSD School of Medicine. Dr. Murphy spoke on the topic, "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Oncologist? The Role of the Individual Physician on Patient Health Outcomes".

Dr. Murphy toured the Department, met with faculty and staff, and enjoyed a meal with members of the Department.
