Leah Backhus, MD, MPH, FACS, chief of thoracic surgery at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System & assistant professor in the division of cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Washington, was a visiting faculty scholar, co-hosted by the division of cardio-thoracic surgery and the Dept. of Radiation Medicine in November 2014.
