Max Diehn, MD, PhD , (Diehn Lab) visited the Radiation Medicine program in November in conjunction with his keynote address at the Knight Cancer Institute's Quantitative Oncology/Solid Tumors Research Retreat . (Training and Research Programs.)Dr. Diehn's presentation was titled " Ultrasensitive Detection of Circulating Tumor DNA by Deep Sequencing". He is an Assistant Professor in the dept. of radiation oncology, Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University. He has co-appointments in the Stanford Cancer Institute and Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and has joint appointments in the Stanford Cancer Institute and Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Diehn discussed career and research strategy with some of the OHSU Radiation Medicine house staff.
