Department chair is appointed to the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation’s Diversity Subcommittee

Department chair, Dr. CR Thomas, Jr., has been appointed to the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation’s Diversity in Oncology Initiative Subcommittee. Dr. Thomas has previously served on the ASCO Grants Selection Committee.
The Diversity in Oncology Initiative Subcommittee evaluates applications for the Medical Student Rotation for Underrepresented Populations and the Resident Travel Award for Underrepresented Populations.
