Sophia Bornstein, MD, PhD, successfully competes for the Cathy & Jim Rudd Career Development Award for Cancer Research  awarded by the Knight Cancer Institute study section. Dr. Bornstein’s grant proposal, “Functional Significance of Tumor-Initiating Cells in Recurrent Head & Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma” will be funded in the amount of $10,000. Congratulations, Sophia!
