 Department faculty selected by the ASTRO Board of Directors to serve on the Review Panel for the ASTRO Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) Grant Award. Dr. Charles Thomas, Jr., currently a member of the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) Research Committee will serve as the ROI representative for the CER Grant Review Panel. The aim of this grant is to stimulate research focused on evaluating the effectiveness, complication profile, cost and cost-effectiveness of various radiation therapy treatments. This focus is part of ASTRO’s strategic plan.
