Dr. Wolfram Laub appointed to the European Affairs Subcommittee of the International Affairs Council within AAPM (American Association of Physicists in Medicine). 

The responsibilities of this subcommittee are to

• Establish and maintain relations with European colleagues.
  
  
• Studying medical physics practices, training, licensing and professional issues of our colleagues overseas.
  
  Attending face-to-face subcommittee meetings at AAPM annual meetings.
  
  
• On-going communication by e-mail or phone between the subcommittee members and colleagues overseas.
  
  
• Collaboration with IOMP, EFOMPS, IAEA and other foreign medical physics organizations.
