Ted Braun receives 2013 RSNA Research Medical Student Grant award

Ted Braun, Ph.D., a member of the OHSU School of Medicine's Medical Scientist Training Program, has been selected by the RSNA Research & Education Foundation's Medical Student Grant Review Panel to receive a Research Medical Student Grant in the 2013 funding cycle. 

Braun, a Rubinstein Research Scholar & member of the Radiation Medicine Student Interest Group, has succcessfully defended his graduate thesis and following the 3rd year medical school clerkships, will work on his grant, titled "THE ROLE OF RADIATION THERAPY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CANCER CACHEXIA". His scientific mentor is Dr. Daniel Marks

This will be the 9th total RSNA Research Medical Student Grant awarded to an OHSU medical student since 2008. Congratulations, Ted!
