Medical physics doctoral degree candidate, Alex Egan's original research titled "Development of an accurate Monte Carlo model of the standard Clinac 6 MV beam", has been selected for presentation at a proforred oral session at the 2013 American Association of Physicists in Medicine AAPM meeting.

Dr. Wolfram Laub, co-director of the graduate program and lead medical physicist is the sr. author on this paper.
