OHSU’s inter-disciplinary radiobiology team presented original research at the Symposium on Small Animal Precision Image-guided Radiotherapy conference in Vancouver, BC, August 11-13, 2014.

Ms. Wendy McGinnis (M2), is the lead author of the paper titled, “Suppression of the T cell Response and Enhancement of Detrimental Effects of Radiation on the Brain”. Co-authors include Drs. D. Friedman, Kristina Young , Michael Gough, and Jacob Raber.

Ms. McGinnis, a member of the Radiation Medicine Student Interest Group, has received funding from the Tartar Trust Fellowship, OSLER Tl1 Fellowship from the OCTRI/CTSA program, and the RSNA Research & Education Foundation.
