Radiation Oncology Institute-funded research project (#R012013-915) Radiation Therapy & Patient-Centered Outcomes among Lung Cancer Patients, has generated the 1st of multiple publications by the Portland-based Early Stage Lung Cancer Comparative Effectiveness Research Consortium. The index peer-reviewed original article title "Even if I Don't Remember, I feel Better": A Qualitative Study of Early Stage Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients Undergoing Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy or Surgery (PDF) in the Annals of the American Thoracic Society. The consortium includes investigators from nearly all of the major cancer programs in the greater Portland metropolitan area. The PI is Dr. Christopher Slatore(OHSU Research)(VA Doctors) & the leader author is Ms. Sara Golden.
