Dr. Marquez is a co-author on article linking CSF shunting and hearing loss in children undergoing treatment for medulloblastoma

This original collaborative work between the OHSU interdisciplinary pediatric brain tumor program including pediatric neurological surgery, pediatric audiology, radiation medicine, neuroradiology, and neurology, was published in the April issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery Pediatrics 9(4):421-427, 2012. The lead author is Dr. Daniel Guillaume. Co-authors are Ms. Kristin Knight, Drs. Dale F. Kraemer, Dianna M.E. Bardo, & Edward A. Neuwelt.

The Radiation Medicine SBRT team recently published an original article titled, "TU-E-BRB-05: Impact of Interfractional Tumor Motion on Respiratory Gated Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy for Lung Tumors" in Medical Physics 39(6):3909, June 2012. The authors are Jianzhou Wu, Chris Betzing, Tony He, and SBRT program leader, Martin Fuss. This work was presented, in part, at the 54th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.

Dr. Win Li is the lead author and Dr. Springer is the sr. author for both articles. Drs. Li, Springer, Woodward, & Rooney, are all imaging scientists in the Advanced Imaging Research Center for both articles.

Multiple OHSU Radiation Medicine investigators co-author NSABP colon cancer conditional survival paper in JCO

Drs. Mehee Choi, CD Fuller, CR Thomas, and SJ Wang, are co-authors on the novel article titled, "Conditional survival and the choice of conditioning set for patients with colon cancer: an analysis of NSABP trials C-03 through C-07" published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology (ahead of print) on April 20, 2010. This article represent the first cooperative group effort to characterize that change in prognosis over time from a prospective dataset of patients with colon cancer who received adjuvant therapy. Other co-authors include Drs. Beth Zamboni, Greg Yothers, James Dignam, Peter Raich, Michael O'Connell, and Norman Wolmark. Dr. Samuel J. Wang is the senior author of this original work.
