Emerita faculty member Dr. Buist to receive first ATS Vision Award

Sonia Buist, M.D., professor emerita of medicine, OHSU School of Medicine, has been given the first ATS Foundation Vision Award by the American Thoracic Society and the ATS Foundation. The Vision Award honors an innovative individual who has had a transformative impact on the delivery of health care in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.
Dr. Buist is past president of the ATS, founder of the ATS Methods in Epidemiologic, Clinical and Operations Research (MECOR) program and past member of the ATS Foundation Board of Trustees.
The ATS Foundation Vision Award will be presented to Dr. Buist during the Opening Ceremony of the ATS 2016 International Conference. Read more
