Knight Cancer Institute launches funding opportunity
Latest in the Community Partnership Program
January 28, 2016
The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute recently launched the latest funding opportunity for its Community Partnership Program. The program works to build sustainable collaborations with Oregon communities by providing grants and other resources to address community-identified needs related to cancer throughout the state. Organizations interested in participating are highly encouraged to apply.
For this cycle, the program is also issuing an additional one-time single call for proposals to implement one of two evidence-based approaches (EBA) aimed toward reducing obesity at a community level. The approaches are:
- Improving healthy food offerings at corner stores
- Promotion of physical activity in communities directed toward meeting the Surgeon General's Step It Up! Call to Action.
