March 8, 2016
Thomas Dewland, M.D., assistant professor of medicine and member of the Knight Cardiovasular Institute, OHSU School of Medicine is one of seven young authors awarded Young Author Achievement Awards by the American College of Cardiology in recognition of outstanding research published in one of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology's sister journals.
The Young Author Achievement Awards are awarded to researchers within the first five years of their training. Editorial boards for each JACC sister journal nominate winners chosen from research submitted in the prior year. Winners will receive a plaque and be recognized at the JACC Editorial Board meeting and reception held during ACC's Annual Scientific Session in Chicago.
