degrees you earn today comes an expectation of commitment to your professions. You
are entrusted with great privilege and responsibility." -- Dean Mark Richardson

We live in a time of rapid health care transformation. The students who graduate today will be practicing medicine and advancing scientific knowledge in 2050 and beyond. I'm confident that today's graduates will become leaders in a future health care system that needs their compassion, innovation and leadership.
I am pleased to welcome the Class of 2016 into our distinguished community of men and women who dedicate their lives to health and healing. We hope you will keep in touch and remain a part of the OHSU family of alumni throughout your careers.Regards,

Mark Richardson, M.D., MBA
