Markus Grompe, M.D. R'88, is a professor of pediatrics and molecular and medical genetics in the OHSU School of Medicine.
Using advanced gene transfer and cell therapy techniques, his lab is researching the biological underpinnings of genetic disorders in children to lay the groundwork for better treatments of metabolic liver diseases, Fanconi anemia and others.
