Dr. Douglas Norman receives national award in clinical transplantation

Dr. Douglas NormanDouglas Norman, M.D., professor of medicine, OHSU School of Medicine, is the 2018 recipient of the American Society for Transplantation Senior Achievement in Clinical Transplantation Award. Dr. Norman, who is also director of the Laboratory of Immunogenetics and Transplantation at OHSU, received the award during the recent American Transplant Congress meeting in Seattle.

The AST recognized Dr. Norman for his contributions to transplantation teaching, service and science throughout the last 40 years; he also received the award in 2006. Dr. Norman has overseen an active clinical training program in transplantation medicine at OHSU for the past 20 years.
