Dr. James Rosenbaum named 2016 ACR Master

James Rosenbaum, M.D., professor of ophthalmology and medicine,
OHSU School of Medicine, has been named a 2016 Master by the American College
of Rheumatology (ACR). This distinction is given to ACR members age 65 or older
who have made outstanding contributions to the field of rheumatology through
scholarly achievement and/or service to their patients, students and profession.
Dr. Rosenbaum, who is head of the Division of Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases, was recognized Nov. 12 during the opening ceremony of the annual ACR meeting in Washington, D.C. Recognition as a Master is one of the highest honors that the College bestows on its distinguished members. These honorees have devoted their long careers to furthering rheumatology research and improving clinical standards in the treatment of rheumatic diseases.
