OHSU School of Medicine continues strong showing on US News & World Report annual rankings

Ranked in Top 5 nationwide in two disciplines
The School of Medicine continued its strong showing – ranking among the nation's best in several categories – according to the latest 2015 U.S. News & World Report's Best Graduate School rankings.
The school retained its rank of #3 in the nation for excellence in primary care education, #4 for excellence in family medicine education (up from number #5 last year), and number 11 in rural medicine (previously ranked at #12). Overall, the School of Medicine was ranked #29 in the nation for research-oriented medical schools, moving up two spots from 31 in last year's ranking. There are 141 accredited medical schools in the U.S.
U.S. News and World Report also ranked the School of Nursing, which placed #7 nationwide in this year's ranking and ranked in several specialty disciplines, including #1 for Nursing-Midwifery. The Physician Assistant Program, last ranked in 2011 is #6 nationwide.
