School ranks at top nationwide in three disciplines

The 2017 U.S. News and World Report Best Graduate School rankings puts the OHSU School of Medicine at #2 (#4 last year) in the nation for excellence in family medicine education, #4 for excellence in rural medicine education (#11 last year) and #6 in primary care education (#5 last year).
Overall, the School of Medicine was ranked #31 in the nation for research-oriented medical schools, unchanged from last year. There are 141 accredited medical schools in the U.S.
The physician assistant program continues to be ranked at #5 in the nation.
