The Oregon Health & Science University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) a regional accrediting body approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Accreditation of an institution of higher education by NWCC indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality evaluated through a peer review process. OHSU has maintained continuous
accreditation with the Commission, earning reaffirmation of accreditation at
its Year One Self-Evaluation Report in 2016. OHSU's Mid-Cycle report to NWCCU

The Baccalaureate/Master's/DNP programs at OHSU School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Washington, DC 20001. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has accredited the Bachelor of Science (BS) in nursing, Master of Nursing (MN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree programs through 2023.
