OHSU Simulation is at the heart of OHSU's education, clinical training, and patient safety practices with over 60,000 learner encounters each year.  We leverage state-of-the-art simulation technology and offer high-fidelity manikin, standardized patient, and team-based training scenarios inside our 20,000 square foot facility.

We offer Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA) training courses through the Department of Anesthesiology and the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course through the Department of Emergency Medicine. We are accredited through the ACS American College of Surgeons and a KARL STORZ Center of Excellence.

We host regional, national, and international conferences and workshops including the Society for Simulation in Healthcare's SimOps 2018, the Regional 2014 Laerdal Simulation User Network (SUN), the Northwest Simulation Alliance (NWSA) Simulation Operations Specialist Workshop, and the World Congress for Ultrasound in Medical Education (WCUME) hosted by the Office of the Provost.
