OHSU WRITEs
Writing Resources for Interprofessional Transformation and Excellence
OHSU WRITEs, which stands for Writing Resources for Interprofessional Transformation and Excellence, is part of the OHSU Interprofessional Initiative (IPI). It encompasses all schools, departments and units within OHSU and is both an integral part of the OHSU Interprofessional Initiative (IPI) and an independent effort to identify, enhance and create new writing resources, learning experiences, and activities throughout the university and reaching all stakeholders.
The purpose of OHSU WRITEs is to enhance the resources for and applications of creative, reflective, medical, scientific, therapeutic, narrative, grant, and other types of communication (e.g., visual and performance arts) throughout OHSU with a goal to drive creativity, innovation, wellness, publication, grant awards, and to enhance diversity and diverse achievement throughout the university.
OHSU WRITEs is broadly integrated within programs, courses, resources and activities for faculty, students, staff, alumni and other stakeholders. It is centrally coordinated by Dr. Hill Taylor who serves as the OHSU WRITEs Program Director. Dr. Taylor can be reached at 503 494-5452 or via email
