Wellness
JBT strives to promote the optimal health and well-being of OHSU students and postdoctoral scholars during their time at OHSU and beyond, through equipping them with tools to support their long-term health and wellness.
2018-2019 wellness offerings include:
- Refuel @ Noon, a drop-in wellness series offering mindfulness practice, group acupuncture, and wellness education
- Wellness events by request (email JBT's Wellness Coordinator to request an event or discuss options)
- Overviews of JBT services by request (email JBT's Wellness Coordinator)
2018-2019 wellness initiatives and collaborations include:
- Food Security Task Force to improve students' access to healthy and affordable food on campus
- Student Health Advisory Committee
- Partnerships with other OHSU programs/departments to offer collaborative programming and events
