Events & Activities
At OHSU, we believe that experiences are enhanced by interprofessional activities and programs outside of the classroom. The role of the Office of Student Life is to provide a link between students’ educational experiences to activities beyond the classroom. We sponsor a variety of services, programs and events to educate, advocate, entertain and challenge students.
All-Hill Student Council Events

Each year the All-Hill Student Council organizes and conducts events that promote collaboration and partnership of all OHSU students.
Halloween Party - Celebrate Halloween with your friends and colleagues; come dressed up in your best costume, win prizes, and enjoy great food and drinks.
Flame Awards Ceremony - Each year, the All-Hill Student Council hosts this recognition event, bringing together student, faculty, and administrators from across campuses to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism. With over 8 awards categories, students nominate, recognize, and celebrate the hard work, generosity, and compassion displayed by students and faculty.
Sun River Ski Trip - Each January, OHSU students spend some well needed R&R shredding the slopes at Mt. Bachelor. This is a widely popular event that attracts students from all schools. The council offers discounted lift tickets and room accommodations as well as a dance with food, beverages, and fun.
Spring Gala - The All-Hill Student Council hosts a formal dance called the Spring Gala. It is held at the Adrianna Ballroom in downtown Portland and approximately 400 students, spouses, partners and friends are in attendance. Everyone is dressed in semi-formal/formal attire and dances the night away while enjoying light appetizers and beverages.
Quiz Bowl - Each spring, the Rho Chi chapter of the College of Pharmacy sponsors a jeopardy-style, team-based knowledge competition open to all schools. In addition to annual events sponsored by the All-Hill Student Council, the Student Center sponsors a variety of campus activities. These activities include competitive intramural leagues, art receptions, viewing parties and more. For more information, please visit the Calendar of Events.

Animal-assisted therapy opportunities are available to students and residents as a way to decompress, relax and unwind.
