Become a Volunteer

Welcome! OHSU Healthcare Volunteer Services is committed to serving patients and families utilizing volunteer resources. Our program is built around very special people — people like you, who care enough about others to give of your time and talent to support patients and visitors throughout OHSU’s hospital and clinics. OHSU Healthcare volunteers work alongside staff who are continually recognized as leaders in delivering quality health care. OHSU's mission of healing, teaching and research, combined with your commitment to community service truly sets us apart.

Volunteers are placed in a variety of settings including family and visitor service areas and inpatient care areas within OHSU, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Kohler Pavilion, and the Center for Health & Healing.

We’re always interested in hearing from reliable and compassionate individuals who would like to help our patients and families on a regular basis.
