Matter of Balance for Seniors

Matter of Balance is an eight week, evidence-based senior fall prevention program. Classes are held once a week for eight weeks in a group of ten to twelve participants. During the class, participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to improve strength and balance.

Community Events

ThinkFirst participates in many community events each year ranging from health fairs to soccer jamborees. At these events, we provide fun activities to educate community members about the brain and how to be safe. Our activities seek to educate about concussions, helmets, transportation safety, and more.
