At the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, our hematology team provides compassionate care for people with a variety of blood diseases and blood clotting disorders. We have been caring for blood disorders for more than 60 years. Our nationally known experts provide state-of-the-art screening, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of blood diseases including:

Our team is committed to improving outcomes for patients with blood disorders through multidisciplinary care and discovering new treatments through research studies. It is also our goal to teach both patients and doctors about blood disorders during consultations and through community outreach. We are a national resource for training healthcare professionals about blood disorders and work with hundreds of doctors annually.
Our doctors work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and social workers to provide comprehensive customized treatment plans for our patients. We also collaborate with experts in surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology and pathology to provide a strong team approach to managing your care.
OHSU is also the home to the Oregon Hemophilia Center, OHSU Regional Hemostasis and Thrombosis referral laboratory and an anticoagulation clinic.
