As part of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, the OHSU Center for Hematologic Malignancies treats blood cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and myleodysplasia. We offer a wide range of treatment options, such as bone marrow transplants and participation in clinical trials. Our areas of emphasis include stem cell transplantation and chronic myelogenous leukemia.
We also treat blood disorders that are not cancer, such as coagulation disorders, hemophilia, sickle cell disease and bone marrow failure syndromes.
Our team
In addition to our multidisciplinary teams, our team is led by Dr. Raymond Bergan who also oversees the Solid Tumor Programs. He is supported by Dr. Richard Maziarz for Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant, Dr. Stephen Spurgeon for Hematologic Malignancies and Dr. Samir Desai for Community Hematology Oncology.
