Special Funding Opportunities

Step it Up! Survivors
In an effort to reduce the incidence and burden of cancer across the state of Oregon, OHSU's Oregon Community Cancer Research Collaborative (OR-CCRC – a Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network [CPCRN]) and OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Community Partnership Program (CPP) are announcing a special funding opportunity to increase physical activity in cancer survivors and their friends and family. The project, entitled "Step It Up! Survivors" is a statewide effort to implement an evidence-based walking program among cancer survivors, their friends and family. By offering this special opportunity, we hope to help Oregon communities increase social support, improve symptom management and ultimately reduce risk of second cancers through increasing physical activity.Addressing cancer-related health disparities
