Casey outreach program mobile clinic volunteers

In partnership with local agencies, our 33-foot fully outfitted mobile ophthalmology unit provides free medical vision screenings at locations ranging from the state's most remote corners to Portland's urban core.

Since our inaugural voyage in 2010, the Casey Eye Institute (Casey) Community Outreach Program has traveled over 27,000 miles across Oregon to bring much needed services to over 8,100 community members who have little or no access to medical vision care.

Entirely donor funded, the Casey Community Outreach Program is staffed by volunteer doctors, technicians, students and community members. To date, we has made 276 visits at over 75 different community centers and health clinics.
