A significant percent effort will be placed on developing specific hypotheses, designing experimental plans, calculating statistical power and sample size requirements, and writing and preparing presentations, manuscripts, and grant proposals in conjunction with other investigators such as Drs. David Huang, Yali Jia, Ou Tan, and Yan Li. Areas of research interest include clinical study design, control of data quality and completeness, missing data analysis, diagnostic accuracy analysis, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, regression analysis, disease progression analysis, and machine learning based on optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography technologies. - Monitors incoming and outgoing sub awards. Ensures spending is on-track with budget, invoices and payments are timely, and assists with close-out at end of budget period.
- Review and distribute monthly project status and PI reports to appropriate individuals. Maintain monthly CEI Research Summary report and present at monthly research administration meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or Related Field. All candidates must have 2 years of professional healthcare and/or relevant financial analysis experience.
- Intermediate level skills with MS Office Suite including Word and Access and experience with advanced Excel functions.
