Morphology Conference / Grand Rounds
The OHSU Department of Dermatology Morphology Conference (Grand Rounds) is a didactic conference where complex or difficult patient cases are presented for assistance in diagnosis and treatment options, or are of teaching value to attendees. These cases are presented by OHSU and other academic clinical faculty, dermatologists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners from around the Pacific Northwest, and referrals from other specialties. The format of the meeting is:
- 7:30am - 8:00am: In clinic patient viewing - current patient/cases in OHSU dermatology clinic for review and discussion.
- 8:00am - 9:00am: Meeting (in-person or virtual through CODE) - discussion of morphologic description, differential diagnosis review of dermatopathology with a digitalized clinical/pathological correlation, followed by a consensus diagnosis and treatment options facilitated by clinical faculty.
