Just For Kids

Kids having fun at doctors office

We are Here to Help

We care about your experience, and will make your visit as fun as possible.

Our Special Tools

To understand what is going on in your body and how we can help, we might need to use special equipment.

Our potty

We will often have you go potty in our “special” potty called our “uroflow potty.” You sit on it like a regular potty. Then it will “tell” us how you went pee by printing off a graph. It does not hurt.

You can be ready by drinking water before your appointment so you will be able to go potty.

Bladder Scanner In Office Ultrasound

After you are done going potty, you will go back to your clinic room and lay down. We will put some jelly on your belly and do a quick ultrasound to see if there is any pee left over. This does not hurt but sometimes tickles.

More about your visit

Like a visit to your regular doctor, we will usually check your:

  • Blood pressure (hug on your arm)
  • Height and weight
  • Heartbeat and tummy sounds (with our stethoscope)
  • Body growth and anatomy (we will feel around your tummy, look at your private area, back, legs and feet)

We are excited to help you feel better and get back to the things that you love to do.
