Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. You must have a referral by your primary care physician or other specialist before an appointment can be made. Please have your medical provider fax information related to the urology concern (chart notes, labs and imaging) to 503 494-4743.

Insurance

Every effort is made to verify and bill your insurance carrier. If you have new insurance or need to make changes, please call our office right away to ensure accurate handling of your account.

Office hours

Our office is open from 8 a.m.– 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Our clinic is located at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital 7th floor specialty desk, 700 S.W. Campus Drive, Portland, OR 97239.

What to expect at a pediatric urology visit

Preparing for your visit

What forms do I need?

If you received forms in the mail, they must be completed before you arrive for your child’s appointment. Our staff will notify you which forms you will need to complete for your visit.

A detailed physical exam is often done at the first visit to determine a child’s current health status.

Are extra liquids important?

Please give your child extra liquids to drink before his or her visit. Your child’s urine will be checked at most visits.

If your child needs to use the restroom at any time, please notify our front desk.

Can I stay with my child during a test?

In most cases, you will remain with your child through the entire test. Exceptions would be in cases of deep sedation or if you are a pregnant mother.
