Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy program at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to caring for the developmental and functional needs of children who have difficulty moving because of injury, disease or other health conditions.
Your child receives an individualized plan of care that addresses their particular motor needs. Our plan takes into account your concerns as well as your child’s concerns and goals. We consult with your child’s doctor and other care providers to ensure that our treatment plan fits into your child’s life.
Our physical therapists are experts in evaluating and treating children with motor disabilities, special health needs, or chronic disabling health conditions, including:
- Cerebral palsy and related neuromotor disorders
- Spina bifida
- Orthopaedic conditions
- Trauma
- Childhood cancer
- Hemophilia
- Genetic and metabolic conditions
- Muscle diseases
